February topics:

February 3: UBI, is that even a good thing?  Is UBI a good idea? Pros and cons, how implementation might happen, alternatives to UBI. We’ve touched on UBI many times and it seems there are multiple perspectives.

February 10: Mounds of debt. What would Systematic Demonetization of $258 Trillion in Global Debt  look like ( Interview – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cYGmGZOabQ )? Guest hosts!

February 17: Store of value. Should money store value? Why or why not? What are the alternatives? What would be the consequences of demurrage or other forms of “taxing” currencies

February 24: Ritual Discussion Overview: Many actions–maybe most actions–in a cohesive community are held in place by social rather than monetary consequences. In this discussion we will explore different types of rituals and social shaming, and the roles they might play as we are building communities. The intention is that this will branch out to specific topics on how we could create modern rituals for communities.
